Before we explain how we commit to environmental sustainability in CBD production, you need to understand why cannabis hemp plants provide some environmental advantages in production.
First, all parts of the plant are usable, and nothing needs to go to waste. An excellent step towards sustainability. The strength of a plant’s nature requires little to almost no pesticide control.
Industrial Hemp’s Environmental Benefits: Commonly referred to as industrial hemp. It requires less land, water, and pesticides, making it a sustainable choice.

These farms avoid extensive use of fertilisers and pesticides, ensuring the purity and safety of our cold-pressed and extracted CBD products to minimise our environmental footprint, protecting the planet we all share.
Efficiency in Our Production
At BRITISH CANNABIS™, efficiency intertwines with sustainability, particularly through our adoption of cold-pressed extraction methods for our non-novel CBD range.
This technique is not only environmentally friendly but also incredibly efficient, ensuring that we extract a full spectrum of cannabinoids without the use of harsh chemicals or solvents.
The cold-pressed extraction process is both energy-efficient and gentle, maintaining the plant’s natural profile and preserving the full array of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.
This method does not require the high temperatures that can degrade the plant’s compounds, thereby ensuring the integrity and quality of our non-novel CBD products.
By choosing this method, we also reduce our energy consumption significantly, contributing to our goal of a smaller carbon footprint.
Cold pressing is inherently a cleaner and greener process, eliminating the need for fossil fuel-based energy that is commonly associated with more traditional extraction methods.
Moreover, the efficiency of cold pressing means less waste. The entire hemp plant can be used, leaving behind minimal residual materials.
