As an essential business that produces CBD health food supplements and CBD hand sanitisers, we will remain open, business as usual. We can confirm that our operations will be unaffected by COVID-19. As a key supplier to our stockists, British Cannabis must continue to deliver for the current demand. Our retail network of pharmacies and health stores will remain open to our customers.
Serving customers and the community during this critical time is essential and we need to ensure our customers can get the CBD essentials they need, when they need them.
The spread of COVID-19 has seen an increase in people opting to shop online. Rest assured, we continue to take online orders and meet all next day delivery targets. Our customers should not experience any change to our normal service.
It’s of great assurance that Canabidol® products will continue to be available from our thousands of registered resellers nationwide such as heath stores and pharmacies that will continue to remain open allowing you to further support your local businesses. If you decide to leave your home and make a trip to these stores, please only do so if absolutely necessary and keep a distance of 2 metres from other members of the public, as advised by the government and NHS England on COVID-19. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON COVID-19
We are also looking to offer clarity by answering frequently asked questions from customers during the coronavirus pandemic:
Can I place an order? Will my parcel be delivered?
There is no disruption to our supply or distribution networks. As a result, we can still offer next day deliveries for orders placed before 2pm. Given the essential nature of our business and the products we produce we do not anticipate this to change.
Are delivery times affected?
Currently delivery time are unaffected. We will notify customers if this changes.
Is it safe to receive orders?
The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.
Nevertheless, at BRITISH CANNABIS®, manufacturers of Canbidol® every utensil, container, vessel, pipette, and spray is sterilised within an onsite UV Sterilisation Unit (UVC). This UVC radiation prevents cell division and reproduction of micro-organisms such as bacteria, spores and mildew.
Is it possible to reduce contact with the driver when they deliver my order?
With thousands of people around the country self-isolating and millions more obeying social distancing guidelines, our DPD drivers are reducing contact with customers. The company has said drivers will be “placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back”.
DPD added: “If an ID check is required, these are now performed at a safe distance.”
As the only large-scale producer in the UK, we are not reliant upon imported CBD like other companies. We grow in Europe, we extract and we produce here in the UK.
Due to current border closures other CBD companies are experiencing restrictions and disruption to their supply from Europe and the United States of America. We are seeing many brands now looking to switch to BRITISH CANNABIS® as their preferred supplier.
With many companies stocking up, we are seeing many new enquiries from companies looking to obtain a much more secure and reliable supply chain for their CBD products. We will continue to update you and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Call us on +44 (0)203 9652 420 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org
